Perdita Durango

 

These are images from a 112 page graphic novel Perdita Durango , put out by a press called Neon Lit, the brainchild of writer Bob Callahan and comic artist Art Speigelman. It was published by Avon Publishers in 1995. The original novel is also called Perdita Drango by author Barry Gifford. The idea behind Neon Lit was to put out a seven book graphic novel collection of famous noir stories. I was book number two. The press and partnerships fell apart after my book.
